This arrangement of “Ein feste Burg” for four voices, No. 33 in Lucas Osiander’s Fünfftzig Geistliche Lieder und Psalmen, Leipzig, 1586, places the melody in the soprano, in hopes that the congregation may be able to sing along with the choir.
