The tune “Gott des Himmels” was composed by Heinrich Albert to accompany the text of his morning hymn, “Gott des Himmels und der Erden (God Who Madest Earth and Heaven).” It appeared in a five-part vocal arrangement in his Arien, Part 5, Königsberg, 1642, No. 4.
